Today I started packing for a new destination. The year and a half that I have been here has been positive. Pennsylvania is a beautiful state. The people for the most part are very nice, and I can say that I met some wonderful people here and even met a few whom I would lable as good friends. I know I will miss this place. I know of a thousand pictures I took in my mind but never had the opportunity to get. Perhaps one day I can return and give more time to the camera and the beauty, that is Pennsylvania.

This one, a view from a mountain top golf course. Near Tunkhannock, PA.

Sometimes I guess you just get lucky. I had stopped with a friend of mine to take a picture of the barn in the background when this gentleman and his dog walked up. Not being one to miss an opportunity, I requested a shot of he and his best friend. They obliged in spades. Around Mehoopany, PA.

There are too many scenes like this in Pennsylvania to even count. I suppose an overdone theme by another name is still just as overdone.

Part of the abandoned Rail Road series. Building was erected in 1915 in the side of a mountain. A neo classic design in the middle of nowhere, just this side of Voidville, PA. :)

New territory for me now. Have been in Pennsylvania for past year. Havent taken any shots in as long. Shooting 4×5 now. Always slow and deliberate. Like me I suppose. :)

This one from an abandoned depot. As always my eye is drawn to the old and tired.

Found myself on a backroad one day near Arnaudville, Louisiana. This old store at the crossroads had a story to tell. I listened.

Well this is the one that got me kicked out of the bar. Seems the bouncer didnt like the bartender on the bar posing for my camera. I never did understand why he didnt kick her out and let me bartend.  Then again there are lots of things I dont understand. Needless to say, had she not been wearing white rubber shrimp boots……I would have never asked.
